On 19-21/09/2016 in Hanoi recently, Long Son Cement has attended world’s leading cement industry conference (INTERCEM) Asia under the sponsor of the Ministry of Construction and Vietnam National Cement Association.

INTERCEM Asia was a big event to promote trade connections between enterprises and this was also an opportunity for the enterprises to meet and exchange in the fields of manufacturing and trading of cement. The conference included more than 40 countries worldwide. This is the first time INTERCEM Asia was held in Vietnam and Long Son Cement was honorably invited to promote and further improve aspects of production, consumption and export. The conference also aimed at promoting the strong development of cement industry in Vietnam.

This conference mainly focused on the speech of regional and international experts which shares analysis, forecasts and professional experience in the cement industry to have a larger view on challenges and opportunities that the cement manufacturers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia was facing. Besides, this INTERCEM Asia also exhibitted and introduced more than 20 types of equipment and services for the cement industry which gained international recognition.

Launched in 1985, INTERCEM was widely recognized as the leading event of the world cement industry. Since the establishment year, there have been more than 50 conferences held in cities and countries in the world with a total participation of more than 25,000 representatives from enterprises operating in the field of cement industry.

The participation in this event of Long Son Cement marked a strong development step of Long Son in the international market, thereby learning experience, improving and perfecting its cement products in consumption and export.
