Long Son Cement Company awarded scholarships to students with extremely difficult circumstances
On the morning of September 26, at Long Son Cement Company (Bim Son town), the company cooperated with the distributors: Long Huong Company Limited, Tan Hoang Minh Trading and Transport Joint Stock Company, Duc Hung Transport and Trade Company Limited, Truong Hai Company Limited and the Association for Learning Promotion (An organization was established with the purpose of encouraging students to study) of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh province held a scholarship award ceremony to primary school students with less fortunate circumstances in Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh for the school year 2020-2021.
Leadership representatives of Long Son Cement Company and Association for Learning Promotion in Thanh Hoa awarded scholarships to students in Thanh Hoa.
At the ceremony, representatives of leaders of the Association for Learning Promotion of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh, Long Son Cement Company and the distributors awarded 234 scholarships, each of VND 4.5 million for 234 primary students who are orphans and belong to families with extremely difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh.
In which, Thanh Hoa has 120 students from 12 districts and towns who received scholarships with the total amount of VND 540 million; there are 114 students from 8 districts and cities in Ninh Binh received scholarships with the total amount of VND 513 million.

Representatives of the Association for Learning Promotion of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh, Long Son Cement Company and distributors hope that the students constantly make their efforts in learning and training, overcoming difficulties and become good children, good students to deserve the trust, caring and help of the company as well as all study promotion associations.

Since being established up to now, along with production and business activities, Long Son Cement Company has always been interested in and promoted humanitarian and charitable activities, including awarding scholarships to students who are less fortunate in districts, towns and cities of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh. Over the past 5 years, the company has awarded nearly 550 scholarships to students with extremely difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa with the total amount of more than VND 2.5 billion. This activity has been a motivation to the students to overcome difficulties and make progress in learning and practice.

On this occasion, the representative of Thanh Hoa Study Encouragement Association awarded Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Thanh Hoa People’s Committee to Long Son Cement Company for its outstanding achievements in raising and developing study encouragment fund in Thanh Hoa for stimulating and building a learning society in the 2015-2020 period.
