Long Son Cement Company and Thanh Hoa Provincial Sports Competition and Training Center signed a sponsorship agreement for the Thanh Hoa women’s volleyball team on May 12, 2023. The volleyball team will be known as Long Son Cement beginning with the second round of the 2023 National Championship.

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Do Trong Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Dau Thanh Tung, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, agencies, provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, Long Son Cement Company – main sponsor, training board and athletes of Thanh Hoa women’s volleyball team.

Long Son Cement Company sponsors Thanh Hoa women’s volleyball team about 4.4 billion VND/year and one automobile for transportation and competition. This funding source will help the team have financial stability, thus strengthening the force, improving the quality of training and practice, and making an important contribution to the achievement of the Premier League in the 2023 season, gradually regaining the top position of the leading teams in the following years.
